There are several insignia patches featured in today's newsletter. The pick of the litter is the code talkers unit patch that is over $700 and ending soon. The other ones featured here are pretty good too!

Well eBay has been at it again. At least two of the auctions that I featured today have been yanked in the last few hours. I guess we all know the story and it's really unfortunate for military collectors.

There is a nice mix of auctions in this block including those interesting Japanese dog tags. If you like pieces that have a little more edge on them you can find several blades here too.

Click any of these listings to find the top selling auctions in the World War I category. From pointy helmets to original medals I've got some of it featured.

The stack of papers in the bottom corner is a great lot from the flying tigers. The bidding is over $500 which is saying something since it's just paper. Click on any of these listings to see the best picks from the United States category.

This block is full of German auctions that are ending soon in the 2nd most popular category within WWII. The picks were ranked based on bidding action and the amount those bids are bringing in. Click to see where these great pieces are before they close.

It is always a history lesson to see what's on the auctions and read up on the listings. Sometimes I find myself going over to Google and trying to find out more about the units or items. You can easily kill an hour doing that if your not careful - but if you love history it's a fun time killer.

There are some really vintage items in this World War I block including old insignia and equipment that is nearly 100 years old.

I am a warm blooded Carolina boy so when I see a listing like for the bomber jacket and pants pictured below. We almost never get weather cold enough to wear lined jeans much rather flying up in altitude in a lined outfit. The framed group below includes a seaman who was in the service well prior to WWII and had an interesting career.

All of these German listings are auctions that are top of the category and ending soon. Click any of the text or image links to see how that item is doing as the gavel is coming down.

There are two vintage Union Jack flags in the newsletter today. I don't know if you have space for one in your collection but they are pretty cool.

Every issue of the Hot Finds includes this closing block dedicated to the best items in the WWI category. It's the much smaller cousin to the main focus of the newsletter.

There are some fun auctions in this block. If you like insignia check out the patch from the 623rd Marine Bombing Squadron. For a bit of history check out the letter from Claire Chennault that is fetching over $800 in bidding. To the left there is a Navy Seebee auction going for over $700. Lots of great picks!

There are some uniquely German auctions today including an interesting ring, and another hat skull pin. Of course the skull motif is popular in German pieces. If you like blades check out the fireman sawback bayonet.

This block has plenty of interesting links. There is a pith helmet from Italy that was supposedly worn by a general. There are some other listings here from UK, Russia and Japan.

Click on any of these WWI auctions to see what's happening in the smaller cousin to WWII. These picks have a very international mixture although we do have the American division patch included.

This block rounds up the best of the live auctions in the United States category. No matter what your collecting interest is one of these should tempt you enough to want to see how it's doing.

This block includes a round up of the leading auctions in the German category. I judge them by how many bids and the amounts that the competitors have driven the listing up to.

The last block of WWII listings featured auctions from many of the other countries. This block can feature some really unusual items like the penicillin below.

Click to see the top listings in the WWI category of eBay. Each issue I clean the table and start off with a fresh round up of the leading live auctions that are going to close soon.
