My family is heading up to the mountains in western NC today to celebrate my birthday. This isn't a big round number but I am getting closer to 50. I hope you guys all have a great weekend.
I've got a new ride. Yesterday I bought a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan off of the husband of one of my employees. It belonged to his deceased father and they were trying to get it sold as part of the estate. This one has the seats that fold into the floor so I'm ready to go picking!
I came into the office yesterday afternoon and got in a little weekend time finishing up projects. I had two collections come in on preview that I needed to get back to the people about and some other projects that I was hoping to put a pin in. But that's also helping me have a fresh start this morning to a productive week.
I have been advertising Best Hobby Pages in the newsletter. This is a company that I bought a few years ago. We make archival envelopes and pages that will allow you to store your collection in a 3-ring binder. This is of course more meant for paper items or things that are flat like patches. Everything we sell is made in the USA!
We are bracing for some nasty storms that are supposed to roll through the area today. I have a lot of work to do at the office so I really hope the power holds out! There is too much on today's todo list for any natural disasters to slow me down. 🙂
