Well after a few speed bumps the first week on virtual school has been ok. I'm still not sure about the quality of instruction and learning but at least the technical hiccups have mostly calmed down.

You might get a laugh out of this - first day of online virtual school in North Carolina and there is a statewide problem with the virtual platform. Neither of my 2 kids could log in this morning. Welcome to the Sh*t show!

This weekend is our last one before school starts for the kids Monday. Of course that's online virtual only school so it's a huge let down. But I can be thankful that we have a flexible arrangement with my wife working from home etc that we can make it work for the family.

Well here is how 2020 is going. In one week folks here in North Carolina had a hurricane, tornado and an earthquake. The lyrics from the REM classic song "It's the End Of The World" begin with the line, "It starts with an earthquake...." Oh my hold onto your seats gang!
