I hope those of you who stayed up late watching the Super Bowl and commercials are back and at 'em for a Monday morning. I've got a fresh batch of live auctions to serve up in today's issue of the Hot Finds.
One reason I like pointing out and featuring old bomber jackets is the cool insignia on them. The one pictured below has the patch from the 459th Fighter Squadron Twin Dragons. It's hovering at about $700 with some time left.
There has got to be something about that Mauser K98 bayonet and scabbard. This one is over $1700 with the hours ticking down. Now that's impressive.
The nice uniform lot below is a little different. It belonged to a Polish volunteer in the British Army. There is also a photo album with about 200 pictures included.
I don't know if the Danish bayonet below is really rare and stunning but it does have 47 bids so somebody thinks so.
I hope you have a good week and I'll continue to get the newsletter out earlier in the day if all goes as planned.
