I was born on an Air Force Base and my father retired as a MSGT in the USAF. A lot of my friends from high school went into the service while I went to college and went into the classroom. So again I hope you have a unique way to celebrate and be thankful today.

This weekend I'm going camping with the Scouts again and the temps are dropping down to freezing at night. I am looking forward to sitting by the fire and drinking coffee while telling some war stories.

This week I have over 1,000 new items to list on eBay. I have an old employee who scanned and created a bunch of listings for me and now I have to get them up for bids.

As crazy as it sounds I think Halloween is being postponed. Well not the actual holiday but the trick or treat part. In Charlotte we are expecting thunderstorms tonight with a chance of hail and even tornadoes. So the parents are all scrambling to reschedule the actual fun part for Friday night to keep the kids safe. I'm all in favor as it's a school night anyways!

Halloween is just around the corner and with two kids you know it's a big holiday for my crowd. My son is dressing up as a dinosaur and my 15-year old daughter as a piece of bacon (?).
