Every issue the lead off block of the newsletter features some of the best United States military items live on eBay. I only include auctions in the Hot Finds because to me those are the ones that might have slipped past your radar.

A few unique items in today's round up of German listings that you might want to check out. This category has some serious collectors and so the bidding can get kinda personal some times.

Within the larger category you can go into individual country categories and that's where this block takes its aim. Countries such as the UK, Canada, Italy, Russia and Japan get featured here but usually only 1 or 2 from each of those to hit the highlights.

The final category visits the close relative of WWI era collectibles. The items here have some crossover to WWII and sometimes people kinda ignore categories anyways when they are listing.

If you collect patches, helmets, uniforms or equipment this block will have something for you. When I was a kid watching war movies I always thought the 1/2 track was the coolest vehicle. I'm not sure if GI Joe ever had one of those but I would have bugged my mom to get one for sure. Also don't miss the photo album in this block that is over $500 in bidding.

One of the big listings in this German block is the Doctor's uniform pictured below. There are 29 bids and it's over $700. One neat thing about our category is that folks don't wait until the last minute to start putting in bids.

Some picks here from Canada and the UK to go along with the ones from farther east in Russia and Japan. What would this block be if I didn't include a nice $500+ Japanese sword

I never get tired looking at posters that are in the military categories. I guess they just don't make them like they used to.

There is no reserve and the bidding is popping on the medic helmet pictured below. With 31 bids at over $1500 that makes it one of the best live listings featured today. The seller plainly states that he is moving in a different direction with his collection. Doesn't that sound like a lot of us selling off some parts of our collection to strengthen others.

Every issue in this German block you can find daggers but few match the N.S.K.K. German Dagger. The seller states it was manufactured by Tiger there were only 10.000 of these made. The bidding is over $1k so he has a good one for sure.

It may look like a mess at first glance but pictured below the Japanese group is a star now at over $2k in bids. Thankfully the owner takes some close ups that don't give away his garage kept automobile quite so obviously.

I've never paid too close attention to shipping charges when I post these auction links but one struck me today. The Canadian WWI helmet and tunic below has not met the reserve but it is up over $500. However, a winner from the USA is going to be charged $125 for shipping. That seems a bit stiff to me but what do I know I've only been on eBay for 19 years.

Both of the lots pictured are doing well with both having received double digit bids. However if you want to see a single listing that almost tops them both check out the cool chenille from the 533rd Bomb Squadron.

Be sure to click over quick before eBay reads the name in the newspaper and decides to delete it. For those of you looking for a more typical German listing we've got binoculars, helmets and all the standard fare in here.

The old social studies teacher in me likes war bond and propaganda posters. I have thought that if I returned to the classroom I'd decorate the room with some of them framed up on the walls. Of course they are not all politically correct so that might not fly these days.

If I want to single out a great auction here there is really no contest. The grouping from the US 26th Division 51st Artillery Brigade is a blockbuster by any measuring stick. Over $1300 and more than 20 bids. Make sure and put that one on your watch list!
