I've been trying to do more of these Top 5 posts because they capture the best selling items in a specific niche of the hobby. You might have guessed that a post on pieces from Italy would include some hats and blades! Click on the links to see how these ended up on eBay.

Dear Santeeswapper LLC,
If you have a minute between your second cup of coffee and starting your morning's work I hope you'll take a few to click through to see some great auctions in the WWII category of eBay that I've dug up.
Big USA Auctions Ending Soon in WWII
One look at these uniforms and other great American items and you know its going to be a good week on eBay for military collectors.
There are so many neat listings in the USA subcategory of eBay WWII that I can devote an entire issue to them. Everything in this email is a live auction that has received bids and therefore is going to sell.
In case you didn't click on last weeks Top 10 post you can do it here. Each week I try and go back and take a good look at closed listings in the category and use those for blog post ideas. I should be cranking out some new ones this week so make sure to check back in.
You will want to click the icon on this YouTube player that will show the video "full screen". That will allow you to see the details on the auctions.
Finnish M 39 SOV Sniper Scope & Mount that sold for $3500 was the top selling item on eBay this week. That's unusual in that typically the #1 item in the category is from Japan or Germany. As you will see in this countdown there are great examples from those two countries included. One of the key items was the GERMAN LUFTWAFFE ME-109 AIRCRAFT CONTROL that also sold for more than $3K. If you are looking for great American items then you should look for RANDALL MADE SPFLD MASS M1 FIGHTING KNIFE. My favorite item is an awesome listing of Patch Blanket Close To 300 Patches.
Its been a while since I checked out the other subcategories in WWII on eBay to see what is selling. The leaders in this group are the pair of Serbian pins. The Chetniks were Serbian nationalist and monarchist paramilitary organizations from the first half of the 20th century. The Chetniks were formed as a Serbian resistance against the Ottoman Empire in 1904, and participated in the two Balkan Wars, World War I, and World War II. The other items included here were big sellers as well even if they all didn't garner lots of competitive bidding on eBay. Click the links to see more details including what these items finished selling for on eBay.

I am pretty late getting this issue out today. Hopefully you will still be able to take time to sift through the great WWII auctions on eBay that I have identified as Hot Finds in the USA category.
