See this exchange between the eBay seller of the Italian paratrooper helmet below and a potential vulture who wanted to get her to shut down the auction.  Oh by the way she didn't and it sold for an amazing $15,100!!!

All of the items in this post were sold in the German subcategory of WWII on eBay.  Not all share the pedigree that the #1 item does (which by the way was in my Hot Finds email!) but they are very nice regardless.  For example, the #2 item was a a flawless Zeiss binocular that went for over $9k.
