Bidding Wars – 50 Or More Gets The Prize

Wednesday, December 8, 2010

A different look on WWII memorabilia on eBay is to look and see which auctions sparked some flat out bidding wars.  All of these auctions had a minimum bid of less than $100.  They also brought in more than 50 bids in very competitive auctions.  'Seasoned collectors will have no problem guessing which one of these items soared all the way from $99 to a final bid of $6800 .

This Week’s Best WWII Auctions!

Wednesday, December 1, 2010

Sometimes reading all the way through the questions section of an auction provides such a treat.  Such is the case with the top selling item last week on eBay - the paratrooper trousers.  If you follow the link below you can see that the seller was offered $4500 to shut the auction down early.  Luckily for himself and the rest of us he shunned that offer and let it roll.  And roll it did - with 4 different bidders offering over $10,000 for the auction.  You'll have to click over to see the final price.  The other auctions below round out the Top-5 list from the last week in World War II on eBay.
