I know - what happened to Monday's issue? I ran into a problem with broken links and so I couldn't pull the trigger and publish. So instead I just hit reset and I've got you a great Thursday issue sent out earlier in the day.

I love insignia and the WWII VMB-612 USMC Bomber Squadron Patch is a super cool specimen in this block. It's over $400 and still has a couple of days left.

There are several uniform pieces in this block that are doing pretty well. The Panzer listing is not decorated with much in the way of insignia but it's going pretty well.

The RCAF listing below is the 2nd Canadian grouping that I'm featuring today. If you want to see the biggie then read down to the WWI block.

The seller states that this may be the best Canadian Expeditionary Force CEF grouping that you will ever see. Judging by the bidding this named listing straight from the family - he might be right!

I should be back on schedule next week with two issues like normal. Thanks for understanding that sometime things go sideways on me trying to get this newsletter out.

Thursday WWII Hot Finds Newsletter November 27, 2014

I, know most of the readers of this email newsletter are not shopping on the big Black Friday fake holiday here in the US. Instead you are probably sitting around the couch digesting leftovers and enjoying a long weekend. This issue should have gone out yesterday but I hope you'll pardon that some of these listings have already closed.

The Army Air Force hat pictured at the top left of this issue reminds me so much of the one that Bob Crane wore in Hogan's Heroes. That was one of my favorite shows growing up.

In the time since I started building this issue and the time I'm sending it out - eBay has decided to nuke the listing for the Nazi photo album. I'm sure this is a very frustrating practice when it comes to German collectors.

In just a few minutes that really nice WW2 British 3rd Airborne Tunic. 1st Div is closing. It's way over $1,000 and the bids are still coming in.

There German officers cap below is one of those listings that closed before I could get this issue published. It sold for a little over $400 on eBay.

I apologize for not getting this issue published Thursday. My in-laws started showing up Wednesday and I just couldn't get in a corner long enough to wrap it up. Enjoy what's left of your holiday and I'll see you Monday.
