It's not hard to recommend some of the top listings featured in the United States category today. Take for example the A-2 jacket. The seller is having some fun as he got a lowball offer from an interested party and posted it for all to see. He's pretty smart because the offer was $600 and it's now over $1400 in bidding. Too bad we can't see the User ID to see where the lowball came from but he got shamed nonetheless.

A really interesting auction here is for the grouping of field post letters. The seller has them all translated and that comes with the auction so you can really see and read the battlefield correspondence even if your German is not very good.

There is a don't miss auction tucked in the left nav bar that you can make out. It's an early Luftwaffe pilot's jacket selling with bidding just under $500 at this point. I have seen similar ones with buy-it-now prices in the four digits.

Don't miss the great American uniform listing pictured below because it's getting alot of attention from collectors on eBay. The listings in this block are all featured in the WWI category.

For some reason paratroopers are dominating this United States block today. From the great 503rd Parachute Infantry patch to the named grouping linked in below. I also spotted a nice listing that included a D-Day gas mask.

Today the German block in the newsletter features four different auctions on helmets. What might be the oddest item that I included today is the silver crumb pan and broom. Hey it was listed in the WWII category so it's game!

Thank goodness the seller of the Brodie helmet below included a picture from the war because when you first see it that's an odd piece. Some of you might like that British commando blouse pictured below. Other items are from Japan and other actors in the war.

My favorite listing in this WWI only block is the war bonds poster warning to keep those red boots off our shores. However, if you want to see a really high flying auction that might slip over $1k in bidding click on the Scottish Kings Bodyguard sword below.

My hands may be blistered from sawing up six downed trees at my house (thank you Hurricane Matthew) but my fingertips still work on the keyboard well enough to get these out to you. The picks in this block are among the best in the United States category in WWII.

German auctions don't disappoint this week with several of these listings claiming 20+ bids.

Click to see items ending soon from Japan, Russia, the U.K. and more including the ever popular commando knife which makes its way into most issues.

Picks in this final block come from World War I and represent just a quick peek at what's happening in that sister category on eBay.

The United States block today has lots of gear that the GI took to war. You can find paratrooper boots, helmets, knives and a good old walkie talkie up for bids today.

One thing that jumped out at me today was the blades in this German block that are seeing some really strong bidding. Be sure to click on the photo linked in below for a cool view from the top of a blown out tank.

Japanese dog tags, commando knives and several swords fill up this block of the newsletter that features items from multiple countries involved in the conflict.

Well here is something you don't see everyday! The uniform lot below from WWI came from the estate of a man who went on to become an economist and served in the Kennedy administration. Even if you aren't interested in purchasing it clock on that one and check out the history.

The idea of a TOR calendar is one way that I'm trying to think of ways to help collectors. In the past on my blog site WWIIHotFinds.com I've built some postings but now that just serves as an archive for the newsletter each week.

Click any of these links to see the German items that rose to the top today in my category run down of auctions that are popular among those collectors willing to put down some bids this week.

This block has links to top performing listings in the smaller categories such as Japan, Russia, the UK and more. I know some of the readers will want to check out the helmets that I spotted doing well on eBay.

This World War I block has good picks such as propaganda, helmets, swords and a few other unique auctions that stand out as getting lots of bids coming in and selling for a pretty penny.
