Like many of you I am going to be with family this weekend. We are traveling this morning to my in-law's house for the big meal. Tomorrow I'm going to my moms house with the kids to spend the day. I hope you have some good plans too!
The week of Thanksgiving is traditionally the biggest shopping season of the year. Does that also hold true for military collectibles? Probably not but these eBay sellers are not letting that stop them as I found plenty of good auctions running this week.
This week I've still got three days in the office to work on getting new stuff sorted. In an attempt to get organized I order a white board for my office so I can make project cards and keep them on the wall. I'm pretty good at using a daily planner so hope is this will help me plan my weeks out.

This weekend the antique mall in Charlotte where I have a booth is having their grand opening. The entire mall recently moved into a new building about two miles down the road. My booth is stocked and ready for hopefully a good weekend of sales.

Sometimes buying stuff from a picker is a pain in the ass. They generally get good stuff along with the junk. But they don't know enough to believe you when you try and tell them their stuff is not made of gold. I am dealing with a guy in TX right now on some stuff and it's a game of coconut shells. I am offering on these items and he goes well nah how about these and back and forth. If you've ever done those kinda negotiations you know how my morning is going.

Today I'm driving to meet someone to buy a collection. This guy is relocating to South Carolina and building a house as a retirement destination. He is getting up there in years and having served in the military has not been connected to Scouting for some time. These are the kind of collections that I love to put back into circulation.
