Monday WWII Hot Finds Newsletter January 17, 2022

Tuesday, January 18, 2022

Well we managed to survive the snow and ice storm that socked the East Coast without losing power. That means there is no disruption to publishing the Hot Finds as scheduled thank goodness. So take a peek at what I found live in the big WWII category ending soon.

We didn't get the 1/4 inch of ice that the weatherman said was possible and I'm thankful. The kids would have preferred all the snow that people 50 miles west got but already there is a chance for the white stuff again next weekend so maybe it will happen. Stay warm and stay safe!

The cold weather is about to sweep across the East and even in Charlotte we are looking to get a rare bit of snow. But the online marketplace is always open and today I've picked dozens of auctions that are ending soon that you should check out.

This weekend I was supposed to be going down to South Carolina in order to help my M-I-L with some chores. However we are expecting Saturday to be wet and Sunday to be snowy so those plans are off. With Monday being a school holiday anyways the kids might not even miss any school from this dusting. But I'll be back with another issue on MLK Day assuming we don't lose power!

Monday WWII Hot Finds Newsletter January 10, 2022

Monday morning and a fresh issue of the Hot Finds is on the way with links to dozens of auctions in the large WWII category that are ending soon. Enjoy checking out what all these are going for - click to do some window shopping.

This weekend despite a flat tire that threw me back 3 1/2 hours I did make it to a Boy Scout memorabilia show in Easley, SC. While there I ran into Richard Shields (the Carolina Trader) who sponsors a couple of military shows with one in Raleigh, NC and the other just recently in Atlanta, GA. There is a lot of crossover with all these "male collectibles" for sure.

Take a peek at the big WWII category on eBay today and you will find plenty to like. I've pulled about four dozen auctions that I want to recommend to you. Click any of the text or picture links to see what I spotted.

This weekend I'm going to a Scouting memorabilia swap meet (trade-o-ree) up in Easley, SC. This one has been going on for 3 decades and is run by a long time dealer that lives there. I'm packing up in van in the morning and heading up. I hope you have great weekend plans too.

Thursday WWII Hot Finds Newsletter December 30, 2021

Sunday, January 2, 2022

Welcome to the last Hot Finds of 2021. Looking forward to '22 I hope that I can continue the decade+ run that this eBay newsletter has sustained. One goal is to grow the audience but to do that I'll need help. eBay has made it impossible to add customers to the list by making all email addresses anonymous. So if anyone wants to partner in the new year with some advertising in exchange for helping me grow my list I'm all ears.

I am in Asheville for New Year's with my family taking a short vacation to ring in 2022. We are going to explore the downtown today and go see the Biltmore Estate Friday. I hope you are ready for great things in 2022!
