Have you ever thought of an eBay auction as a little bit of aerial combat as in the old fashioned dogfight? Well if you ever take time to go back and look at the bidding history of items sometimes there is an interesting story to tell. Take for example the two items I found that received the highest number of bids in the Japan subcategory of WWII on eBay. The General's sword came down to only two bidders who were willing to cross over the $1,500 mark. The lead changed hands four times in the last 24 hours of bidding in a classic tug-of-war. With the Shinto sword it became a sniper attack. Four different bidders came in with bids in the last four minutes adding nearly $1,000 to the final purchase price. The winning bid arrive with 30 seconds to go and demolished the competition. Check out these five Hot Finds picks that sold recently arranged by the high number of bids they received.
