$3500+ Bomber Jacket – Oh Yes!

The featured auction in this Top 10 list comes in at #2.  Original World War 2 A-2 pilots leather flight jacket and grouping of small items. The jacket has the leather patch from the 49th Fighter Squadron and is Id'd to Norman W. "BUZZ" Jackson with another small leather patch that reads N. W. Jackson. It is in excellent++ condition the zipper is marked Talon and works very well. There is one little worn spot or tear on one of the cuffs as I've shown in the photo.  The shoulders have the captain bars on them, on one side the reflective part has come off.  The tag reads TYPE A-2 DRAWING NO. 30-1415 CONTRACT NO. W535 AC-27752 ROUGH WEAR CLOTHING CO MIDDLETOWN PA PROPERTY AIR FORCE U.S. ARMY, has the size tag of 38.
