There is no reserve and the bidding is popping on the medic helmet pictured below. With 31 bids at over $1500 that makes it one of the best live listings featured today. The seller plainly states that he is moving in a different direction with his collection. Doesn't that sound like a lot of us selling off some parts of our collection to strengthen others.

Every issue in this German block you can find daggers but few match the N.S.K.K. German Dagger. The seller states it was manufactured by Tiger there were only 10.000 of these made. The bidding is over $1k so he has a good one for sure.

It may look like a mess at first glance but pictured below the Japanese group is a star now at over $2k in bids. Thankfully the owner takes some close ups that don't give away his garage kept automobile quite so obviously.

I've never paid too close attention to shipping charges when I post these auction links but one struck me today. The Canadian WWI helmet and tunic below has not met the reserve but it is up over $500. However, a winner from the USA is going to be charged $125 for shipping. That seems a bit stiff to me but what do I know I've only been on eBay for 19 years.

Both of the lots pictured are doing well with both having received double digit bids. However if you want to see a single listing that almost tops them both check out the cool chenille from the 533rd Bomb Squadron.

Be sure to click over quick before eBay reads the name in the newspaper and decides to delete it. For those of you looking for a more typical German listing we've got binoculars, helmets and all the standard fare in here.

The old social studies teacher in me likes war bond and propaganda posters. I have thought that if I returned to the classroom I'd decorate the room with some of them framed up on the walls. Of course they are not all politically correct so that might not fly these days.

If I want to single out a great auction here there is really no contest. The grouping from the US 26th Division 51st Artillery Brigade is a blockbuster by any measuring stick. Over $1300 and more than 20 bids. Make sure and put that one on your watch list!

The army lot below is kinda neat. I don't know if it's all original to WWII or not but it's a big glob of equipment including some knives and will fetch a pretty penny. I also like the bullion listed below because I'm really into patches and insignia.

Another German listing pulled and this time it's the wooden box lid pictured to the left. We will never know how the bidding would have played out. Still lots of good picks here to choose from in the German category.

A couple of nice listings in this block although it's the pistol lanyard that makes me wonder. If you look at that listing it looks like something that would sell for $1 at a yard sale but with knowledge you can list it on eBay and fetch over $100 in bids.

Auctions can be a bitch or maybe it's just wishful thinking. The seller of the Russian pilot's ring below states he estimates the value at $5500-$6500 but with 8 hours to go the 20 bids have driven the price up to just over $300. I'm sure there must be some snipes waiting out there....right?
