There are some good picks in the United States category including uniforms and equipment. Click any of these to see what the auction is going for.

German is the 2nd largest category within WWII on eBay. There are always some high priced auctions getting bids and this week's issue is no exception. Click the link to see what these are up to.

This block includes a round up of the other small categories broken down including Russia, Japan, Italy and more. I pick the listings that are getting the most bids to give you a sampling of the best live auctions.

Closing out today's issue with a run down of the best dozen or so auctions topping the chart from the WWI category on eBay.

It's not every day I have a "death card" in the newsletter. Click on that red paper listing below and you can read what I'm talking about. For an auction that would get your wife to kill you if you won it click on the lot of 20 helmet liners on the left.

There is a really nice Panzer uniform jacket pictured in this block that is getting some eBay love. You can also find some of the usual picks like helmets and sniper scopes in this all German block.

What would this block be without a few Soviet medals and a Japanese sword? But hey there is also a classic British fighting knife and other picks to see in this block.

Some of the insignia pieces can be really neat looking even when you go all the way back to WWI. Click to see these auctions that date from a hundred years ago.

In case anyone was wondering YES I did bring home a collection Sunday. Like most there were plenty of books, uniforms, and a fair share of Boy's Life and Scouting magazines that don't get anybody excited. This collection even had a dozen baseball caps. I'm actually going to try and start moving some of that stuff tonight in the Facebook Group almost as an experiment.

There was one tote that came home from the collection that was full of patches and neckerchiefs. I haven't had time to sort that one out but that's where the jewels are. There were several nice OA neckerchiefs and a few flaps and event patches that I was really happy to get. Overall, it wasn't a huge haul but worth the almost four hour trip to go make the deal.

It looks like I'm going to keep both antique mall booths after all. I went into the Lumberton store yesterday to talk to the owner and explain how I was going to clean out my booth Saturday. But after picking up a nice commission check from April we agreed that for the time being I can just be a long distance booth renter and see how it goes. I've been running a 50% off sale in the booth for some time and that's seems to be driving some good sales.

I haven't talked about the antique mall booths in some time but since summer is around the corner it's possible some of you will be planning trips down Interstate 95 that would take you through North Carolina and South Carolina. Check out www.santeeswapperstore.com to find out the locations and information on both of my booths.
