I hope you have recovered from the weekend and are ready for some great military eBay auctions. I spent the weekend camping with the Scouts and trying to stay one step ahead of the tropical storm that came ashore in North Carolina.
I really like the rifleman lot that is pictured in the left hand block. The sellers does point out that it doesn't come with the shells or the hand grenades. That is a good disclaimer.
The nice Hungarian German Ally Tanker Panzer Leather Jacket has a good number of bids and looks pretty authentic to me.
Ok I have a confession to make. I have no clue what a Horsehair Sporran is. The one pictured below is Canadian. i suppose I could Google it but it seems like an odd piece if you ask me.
I don't often have mechanical things in the WW1 block. The Signal Corps Service Buzzer Telegraph is an exception and a pretty cool item.
This week I'm spending Wednesday and Thursday working my antique mall booths. Things have been pretty crazy lately but I need to get them topped off with some new inventory before the summer travel season gets here.

I hope this issue catches you at a good time when you can take a minute to see what I've turned up on eBay. I think there is something in here for any military collector.
Today's United States block features a strange mix of mortar shells and unit insignia. I've never quite understood the desire to collect an inert explosive but I'm sure its a good conversation piece. Now on the other hand I completely understand why unit patches and insignia is a hot topic for collectors.
If you want to bid on the mess kits they are going to end before many of you get to click on this link. It's kinda unusual to see anybody sell a lot of 6 nearly identical items in this category.
The Japanese tropical helmet is a pretty iconic piece from the war. In fact in this block I've got several helmets linked in that are ending soon on eBay.
The final block in the Hot Finds gives you a look at some of the best auctions in the WWI category.
This week will be a nightmare for getting work done. I''m going to be at my daughter's school four days in a row trying to make sure our annual auction goes off without a hitch. I'm the Vice-President of the PTA so there is no getting out of this one.

I've found a lot of really nice listings in today's newsletter including uniforms, insignia and blades. Stay tuned and click on any of these you want to check out.
To the left you can find a really nice Airborne uniform that features the Geronimo insignia. I've also spotted a nice Chinese made insignia for the 23rd Fighter Group.
When I first saw that German uniform below it made me think of the Cobra Commander. I grew up in the 1980s and will forever be a GI Joe fan from the cartoon and small toys that were popular in my childhood.
Most knife collectors do not focus down to specific countries and are happy to get really nice specimens. In this block I have an Italian fighting knife that is over $300 with some solid bidding.
There is another $300+ blade in this block to lead things off. I'm not quite sure where it's from as the seller did a bit of key word stuffing in his title though.
Today wraps up what has been an incredibly busy month. I've got another couple of crazy weeks with commitments until Memorial Day weekend when pretty much I'll finally be able to sit back and relax.
