I have another loaded issue of this military collector's newsletter for you featuring some of the best live auctions on eBay. Click to check out what I've turned up.
Sometimes the seller will post the questions that come in to the wall of the auction. In the case of the old German camera below somebody tried to pick it off at $300 and asked the seller to close the auction. Good decision to say no as this auction has nearly doubled that offer.
It is rare that I tout a Japanese sword in this block because I know it's a pretty small group of collectors that go for these. Still it's hard to ignore the multiple listings in this block for vintage swords.
The WWI block is a welcome finish to this issue of the Hot Finds Newsletter. While not everybody goes back this far with their collection there is some crossover and I think some folks will like what they see here.
We are staying home this weekend which is a welcome relief. Outside of a few soccer games I think it's going to be a peaceful few days if the weather holds.

I've decided in today's issue of the Hot Finds I'm going to focus on jackets. That's probably because fall is in the air and I've been breaking into my coat closet this week after a long summer.
The nice WWII Army Leather Bomber Flight Jacket Type A2 pictured below is a size 44. Now I could probably fit into that one assuming that the measurements and age haven't shrunk the jacket down from there.
I've got another uniform jacket featured in this block. The condition is holding down the bids on this German Luftwaffe winter uniform jacket. eBay user italianwarfront has that one up at auction.
Since jackets are my theme for this issue the one I'll recommend to you in this block comes from Canada. The Argyll and Sutherland Tunic and Glengarry 4th Armoured Div
is about to hit $300 and might fetch more before it closes.
Sticking with the Canadians for this final block in the email newsletter I've got a nice 1915 Victory Loan poster that is doing really well with over 50 bids.
I hope you enjoyed today's issue. Don't forget I maintain an archive of the Hot Finds email newsletters at my website WWIIHotFinds.com.

I am a little late in the day getting this one published but there are still dozens of auctions that are worth taking a look at in this issue.
Long time readers of the Hot Finds know that I like old insignia. The Black Devil's Brigade patch is not the typical of the ones I prefer but I still have to give it a shout out.
The officer coat below is listed out of Bulgaria and I'm not sure if it's 100% legit. I say that because the bidding is a bit off but I don't claim to be an expert.
An excellent auction in this group is the Canadian Grenadier Guards listed below. It's over $500 with lots of time left.
Do you know that Johnny Cash song "one piece at a time"? I sorta got that feeling when I clicked on the Colt
pistol slide. You can't sell firearms on eBay but if you bought it one piece at a time you could put one together.
Well as some of you will remember I'm now 0-2 attending college football games this year. This weekend I'll just be at home spending time with family so maybe my team will pull one out on the road.
