Well we managed to survive the snow and ice storm that socked the East Coast without losing power. That means there is no disruption to publishing the Hot Finds as scheduled thank goodness. So take a peek at what I found live in the big WWII category ending soon.
We didn't get the 1/4 inch of ice that the weatherman said was possible and I'm thankful. The kids would have preferred all the snow that people 50 miles west got but already there is a chance for the white stuff again next weekend so maybe it will happen. Stay warm and stay safe!
The cold weather is about to sweep across the East and even in Charlotte we are looking to get a rare bit of snow. But the online marketplace is always open and today I've picked dozens of auctions that are ending soon that you should check out.
This weekend I was supposed to be going down to South Carolina in order to help my M-I-L with some chores. However we are expecting Saturday to be wet and Sunday to be snowy so those plans are off. With Monday being a school holiday anyways the kids might not even miss any school from this dusting. But I'll be back with another issue on MLK Day assuming we don't lose power!
Monday morning and a fresh issue of the Hot Finds is on the way with links to dozens of auctions in the large WWII category that are ending soon. Enjoy checking out what all these are going for - click to do some window shopping.
This weekend despite a flat tire that threw me back 3 1/2 hours I did make it to a Boy Scout memorabilia show in Easley, SC. While there I ran into Richard Shields (the Carolina Trader) who sponsors a couple of military shows with one in Raleigh, NC and the other just recently in Atlanta, GA. There is a lot of crossover with all these "male collectibles" for sure.
