Take a look at these top selling auctions from the German subcategory of WWII on eBay. The first item up is one of the highly valuable binoculars that you see pop up for sale on eBay from time to time. Its been a long time since I remember seeing German flight pants that have the wiring built in. However, I'd have to say I've never had in my blog the red cross version of the German helmet or the tropical hat. Click these to see how they ended on eBay.

ff you know much about collecting German military items from WWII then you will recognize some of the big auctions that I'm reporting on here. Kriegsmarine and other binoculars are regularly top sellers in the category. I saw a pair go for $4k just the other day. With this group being rounded out by a dagger, sniper scope and helmet that pretty much accounts for all the usual suspects that are heavy hitters in the category.

In a recent blog post I said that German collectors really favor helmets. So in my newest post focused on those collectors I tried to stretch the boundaries and go for some top selling auctions that were not meant to be worn on your head. Of these the only one that I don't remember seeing anything similar to on eBay before is the Luftwaffe survival pack. Perhaps that explains why it got more bids than these other listings except for the 2nd pair of binoculars that got 24 bids.
