Thursday morning brings a fresh issue of the Hot Finds to your inbox to connect you with some of the best auctions in the WWII category that are getting bids. Enjoy!
This week I've been diving into recent collection purchases trying to get items sorted and in the process to get them listed. As some of you know it's a bit tedious to get things up on eBay so having some employees is a big help.
The Hot Finds is out fresh and early today to catch you up on some of the best live military auctions in the category. Click any of these links to see what is getting bids and ending soon.
Saturday I picked up a big Scouting collection in Augusta GA that I'll be going through this week. Since I'm first off a collector these picks always require me to go through and decide what to keep!
This weekend there are dozens of auctions ending soon on eBay that you might want to take a look at. Every week I compile this collector's newsletter from handpicked items to give you a peek into what I think looks interesting.
Yesterday I drove about an hour away to purchase a very nice Scouting memorabilia collection. This guy's dad (who passed away this year) assembled a very broad and interesting collection. It matches up very well with several areas that I focus in. Today in the warehouse I'm going to start diving in on that.
I am a day late but hopefully not a dollar short in getting this issue out to the readers. Yesterday I was thrown off since we had tree guys coming to do some work in the yard. But today things are back on schedule.
Tomorrow I am driving to visit a guy who lives about an hour away to look at his late father's Scouting collection. Ironically this comes as today I'm beginning to list on eBay my late father's model train collection. The wheel keeps on turning!
Take a look in today's issue to see auctions that are getting bids and gaining watchers. I hope that a few of these are surprises to you.
I just got a frantic call from a woman in SW Florida. Her friend rescued a briefcase of Boy Scout memorabilia out of the dumpster and she was really in a tizzy thinking she had found some gold. Of course the items she found were not nearly as exciting to a collector but I coached her up on what she had and suggested that she sell it locally on FB Marketplace.
