Judging by the number of bids that these top selling auctions brought in it looks like we have ourselves a bidding war. The way these things usually go is that if the minimum bid is very modest then it encourages the magic of the eBay auction to get to work. Some sellers opt for a high minimum bid figuring that they only need 1 bid (the winning one) to go home happy. That clearly happened on the auction for the communications center. Before you click the links make a mental guess as to what they sold for after the furious bidding ended.

The biggest, baddest subcategory in all of WWII is of course the United States. With thousands of items available this niche of the market is the leader of the pack. So what are the best auctions to close in that neck of eBay? I've got you covered with these five top picks. I choose these because they were the most interesting. I left out an engine motor that while valuable didn't have the appeal of these choices. See if you can guess where they finished up before clicking the link and find out what the selling price was when the gavel fell.
