If you want to see an amazingly done listing then you need to click on the Flight Jacket grouping. The pictures, description and clean look of the listing are among the best I've seen and it showed in the final value. Its not often that an auction is knocking on the door of $10k. Another interesting thing I saw in one of these listings was some interesting back and forth with questions from sellers. How often do you think that potential bidders ask the seller to close down the auction and sell it offline? In the case of the Airborne Jacket the seller said "no" and I think he made the right decision!

Well one of today's auctions prove that when it comes to vintage collectibles condition is everything. Take for example the German smock below. The vigorous bidding and high price paid are indicative of the premium collectors will pay for clean pieces in extremely good condition. All of these auctions can lay claim to being among the top listings to sell in the German category of eBay over the last month. Considering that 4/5 sold for over $2k that is a pretty good list!

A different look on WWII memorabilia on eBay is to look and see which auctions sparked some flat out bidding wars. All of these auctions had a minimum bid of less than $100. They also brought in more than 50 bids in very competitive auctions. 'Seasoned collectors will have no problem guessing which one of these items soared all the way from $99 to a final bid of $6800 .
